How do I remove the inner door glass on my cooker?

To remove the inner door glass from your Blomberg cooker, follow these steps:

    • Open the oven door: Fully open the oven door to begin.
    • Remove the upper profile:
    • For plastic upper profiles: Pull the plastic profile attached to the upper side of the door towards you to remove it.
    • For metal upper profiles: Remove the two screws securing the profile, then lift it off the door.
    • For side-opening doors: Make sure the inner glass is supported before removing the upper profile.
    • Lift the inner glass panel: Raise the innermost glass panel upwards and pull it towards you to remove it.
    • Free the glass holder connecting elements (if applicable): If your cooker has glass holder connecting elements, pull them away from the panel to release the glass.

Repeat this process for any other glass panels that need to be removed.

To reinstall the inner glass panel, follow these steps:

    • Insert the inner glass panel: Place the inner glass panel into its plastic slot, ensuring it fits snugly. It's important that the side of the glass with “LOW-E” or “H” stamped on it faces towards the inside of the oven as this side has a heat reflective coating.
    • Seat the corners: Make sure the lower corners of the innermost glass panel are seated properly into the plastic slots to prevent vibration and breakage.
    • Reattach the glass holding connecting parts: Place these parts back into their respective slots.
    • Reattach the upper profile: Press on the tabs of the profile to secure them back into their slots.

It’s worth noting that this feature may not be available on all models, so it’s best to consult your product manual for specific instructions related to your cooker. Always handle the glass carefully to avoid breakage and injury. If you have any issues or need further guidance, contact our Customer Care team.
