Did you know that Blomberg induction hobs come equipped with three different locking features designed for safety and convenience? With a cleaning lock, child lock, and key lock, our induction hobs help ensure a secure cooking environment. Depending on your specific model, the instructions for activating and deactivating these locks may differ. Below is a general guide to help you understand how these lock features work. For precise instructions, please refer to your appliance’s user manual.
Cleaning Lock
The cleaning lock is designed to pause all key functions for 20 seconds while the hob is on, allowing you to clean the surface safely. During this time, the appliance won’t draw power from the cooking zones.
How to activate/deactivate the cleaning lock:
Child Lock
When the cooking zones are off, the child lock can be activated to prevent children from turning on the hob. This feature can only be activated when the hob is in standby mode.
How to activate/deactivate the child lock:
Key Lock
The key lock ensures that no settings are accidentally changed while the hob is in use. This function locks the controls, but the hob will continue to operate.
